
NextVR was founded in 2009 by veterans in stereoscopic imaging technology, software development and an award-winning filmmaker. They quickly captured the imagination of the world with their ability to transmit live, on-demand, long-form virtual reality content from sporting events to concerts in broadcast quality.
They came to us at a time in which their company had long since outgrown the brand they developed at launch. They needed a new brand that stood apart in a global market, and would assist in positioning the company favorably for future acquisition. A more immediate need was the fact that the executive team were presenting a keynote address at CES in a few months and wanted it to be the coming out party for their new brand.
We tackled everything from positioning, brand and identity development, to the creation of the CES presentation itself, accompanied by a splashy promotional campaign. Following CES launch, we developed ongoing campaigns to promote new partnerships with the NBA, Live Nation and more. It was a proud day for all in 2020 when NextVR was acquired by Apple.
